What to sort out before and after you hand over the money.
Transfer an ACT-registered caravan or trailer into your name within 14 days, through Access Canberra. Late transfers can attract fees.
A roadworthy inspection is generally required before transfer — confirm with Access Canberra, especially if the van is unregistered, modified or interstate.
Gas appliances and aftermarket wiring should be fitted and certified by licensed trades to Australian Standards. Ask for the paperwork.
Lodge it as soon as the sale is done, so the van is no longer recorded in your name.
“Was easy to list and the promptness of staff when I needed help was efficient. A must for customers selling their vans.”
“If I had known how safe and easy it was to sell our van, I wouldn’t have hesitated for a year! He travelled over 1000km to pick it up.”
“I found the help and support from this site was amazing — my questions were answered quickly. Would recommend giving it a go.”
Open the listing in full. It shows the seller’s contact details and an enquiry form, so you can call or message them directly.
No. We’re merely the marketplace that connects buyers and sellers — you deal directly with the seller to arrange inspection, payment and handover.
Both. You’ll find new caravans from trusted dealers and used caravans from private sellers across the ACT.
No. Listings are created by sellers. Inspect in person and ask for service history, compliance certificates and receipts.
We partner with Stratton Finance. Use our loan calculator to estimate repayments, then connect with Stratton directly. Results are an indication only, not a quote or pre-approval.
Disputes are between you and the seller, but we take fraud seriously. If a listing looks suspicious or a seller stops responding, report it and we’ll take action.
