Although designated as a 216R, this van is an extended body. The external caravan body length (excluding the A-frame) measures approximately 7250mm, offering noticeably more internal space than most buyers expect from a “21’6” class van while still towing exceptionally well.
The van has a 3500kg ATM with a current ball weight of approximately 190kg. It is fitted with the factory FRV off-road package, including heavy-duty 3700kg off-road suspension, reinforced chassis and running gear, and a Cruisemaster DO35 coupling. Electric brakes are fitted and are AL-KO.
Power and electrical setup includes a factory solar system totalling approximately 380 watts via two roof-mounted panels, paired with 240Ah of AGM battery capacity. Power management is handled by a BMPro system, supported by an Odyssey battery monitor with Bluetooth connectivity. The van has a 240V external inlet allowing the BMPro system to operate fully when connected to mains power, along with multiple internal 12V outlets and additional internal 12V fans for airflow.
The kitchen and living area are well equipped with a 3-way fridge that operates on gas, 12V or 240V, a gas cooktop, microwave, club lounge layout, Fusion sound system, TV with antenna, one large main roof hatch and two additional roof hatches in the ensuite.
Comfort features include air conditioning, gas heating, and a full ensuite with a large shower and cassette toilet.
Touring and connectivity upgrades include a Starlink Gen 3 mounting point already fitted, making this van ideal for off-grid and remote travel.
Running gear includes 16 x 8 inch rims fitted with LT 265/75 R16 tyres. Load carrying capacity is approximately 879kg, with a tyre load rating of 1520kg per tyre and a maximum cold tyre pressure of 450kPa.
This is a genuine factory FRV build. The extended body, strong payload, sensible ball weight and comprehensive touring setup make it an excellent choice for long-term travel, free camping and remote touring.
