O’BRIENS DELUXE OFFROAD CAMPERTRAILER

After years of procrastination due to lack of use, my wife has persuaded me to part with our O’Brien’s Deluxe Off-Road camper trailer. The trip around Australia did not happen.
The trailer measures 2.1m x 1.85m with the drawbar 1.7m long. This is an off-road trailer with independent suspension (Kona shocks and coil springs) and electric brakes. The Aggregate trailer weight is 1100KG and the Tare weight is 750KG. This trailer tows beautifully, no swaying and you hardly know it’s there.
Registration has been paid to the 23rd of January 2024.
The tent folds out on gas shocks to 2.1m x 2.3m, and the awning doubles the size of the trailer and tent again. The tent has a screened window next to the door, one in the side wall and a large window/door on the wall opposite the main door. The cover for this can be propped up with tent poles.
An awning zips onto the front of the tent with a side wall to protect the kitchen. All the poles for the awning are in a long cabinet on the side of the trailer. Another tarp is included to go on the opposite wall of the awning to protect from wind and rain.
FEATURES
2 two stage pull-out draws. One a kitchen with a sink and a 2 burner gas stove with griller and wiring for a fridge (I have not used this), The second draw is for storage with a bench at the leading edge which lifts up.

1 Onboard battery with fuse box (front right side compartment)
90L water tank underneath and two taps (one on sink and the other at back of trailer.
4 small cupboards under the edge of the bed to store small items
3 X 12V plugs (2 inside and 1 outside)
Bed has a 15cm foam mattress and under the mattress are two panels that can be lifted up to get access to the storage draw underneath
On one side is a long compartment (opened from the outside) which contains the poles for the awning)
Rear right compartment holds pegs etc for the tent and awning.
Rear left compartment holds wheel chocks and adjustable rear legs for the trailer.
Front left compartment was used to store air compressor.
Slot at back for a bike rack.
Fire extinguisher.

ASSESSORIES
2 mesh rubber mats, one to go under the tent floor to protect it and the other goes under the awning to minimize sand etc coming inside the tent.
