2021 Golf Savannah Maxxi 390PT Offroad Van

Perfect for a couple wanting to get away from the maddening crowd, this off-road Golf Savannah Maxxi 390PT pop-top caravan offers a great deal of comfort and internal space due to its excellent design. Being a pop-top, it is easy and efficient to tow and surprisingly quick to set up. The large window opening at dining table is great to enjoy the view or to pass things in and out for the outdoor kitchen. With the roof lifted, the overhead cupboards provide a great amount of space to keep things like coats, hats, shoes, books, etc out of the way. We have used collapsible storage containers that sit perfectly on these overhead cupboards.

We are the first and only owners of this van, which was first registered in August 2022. We purchased it in 2022 for $69,000 but have decided to sell and upgrade to a bigger van as we now intend to take our grandkids on trips with us.

We have travelled just over 13,000 km with this van and of that only around 5% has been on dirt roads and these only had minor corrugations. We are not into extreme off-road travel. When not travelling, our van has always been stored undercover in a garage.

Our tow vehicle is a 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Exceed, 2.4Ltr turbo diesel with 3100kg towing capacity, which has no difficulty towing our Golf 390PT. As we will be buying a larger van we will also be selling this vehicle and will replace it with one with slightly more towing capacity.
